Highlight reels and gym clips cut at game speed

Send the game film, practice clips or gym footage. We find the plays, slow down the ones that matter, add stats and team colors, and quote every job up front.

Who sends us footage

A parent has every game of a senior season on a hard drive and wants a reel before the coach's recruiting calls start. A high school or club team has full games exported from its film platform and needs a season recap for the banquet. A trainer films clients on a phone propped against a dumbbell rack and wants three short clips a week for Instagram. A gym owner has a new class to launch and an hour of footage from the first session.

In each case the footage is already there. Watching four hours of film to find ninety seconds of plays is the slow part, and that's the part we take on. You keep recording the way you already do. We cut, slow, label and export.

Services

Reading the chart up top

The chart in the header is a speed ramp for one play, a sideline catch. The orange line is playback speed. It runs at full speed through the snap and the route, drops to a quarter speed just before the ball arrives, holds through the catch, and climbs back to full speed for the run after. The striped field behind it marks each tenth of the play.

The numbers under the chart are worked out from the same data. Six seconds of play take about ten and a half seconds on screen, and the line marked smooth floor shows how slow that footage can go before it starts to stutter. Footage shot at 120 frames per second and played back at 30 can slow to 25 percent cleanly. Go lower and the editor has to invent frames. The slow motion page has three more ramps, including one that goes too slow on purpose.

What to send

A short brief saves a round of questions. A useful one covers:

  • A shared folder link with the original files (full games, practice clips, phone video), not copies sent through a chat app
  • The sport, the athlete's jersey number and position, or the coach or gym the promo is for
  • Plays or moments you want in, with the file name and a rough time, if you have them
  • Stats you want on screen, and where they come from
  • Where it will be used: a recruiting profile, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, a team banquet or a gym website
  • Logos, team colors or brand fonts, and the date you need it

Not sure what you have? Send the folder link and one sentence about the goal. The quote will list anything that's missing.

Where we work

All editing is remote, so the film can come from anywhere. We focus on athletes, teams, gyms and trainers in Jacksonville and Columbus and book calls in Eastern time.

Common questions

How much does a highlight reel cost?

It depends on how much film there is to watch, the finished length, how many plays need slow motion, spot shadows or stats, and how many versions you want. We quote each job in writing after seeing the footage, so you know the cost before work starts.

Can a highlight reel get my athlete recruited?

No editor can promise that. A clear reel makes it easier for a coach to see what your athlete does well, quickly. Whether that leads anywhere depends on the athlete, the coach and plenty of things outside the edit.

My athlete is under 18. Who sends the request?

A parent or guardian should send the request and approve the finished reel, including any name, school, stats or contact details shown on screen.

Are the images on this site real projects?

No. The stills are AI-generated samples and the speed ramp charts are illustrations made for this site. We don't publish client footage without permission.
